Wikipedia: The Russian Revolution was a pair of revolutions in Russia in 1917, which dismantled the Tsarist autocracy and led to the eventual rise of the Soviet Union. The Russian Empire collapsed with the abdication of Emperor Nicholas II, and the old regime was replaced by a provisional government during the first revolution of February 1917 (March in the Gregorian calendar; the older Julian calendar was in use in Russia at the time). In the second revolution that October, the Provisional Government was removed and replaced with a communist state.

The last days of the Romanovs

1. Czar Nikolaj in Zarskoe Selo under supervision

2. In Tobolsk the Czar and his Children sit on the roof in the sun, under supervision

3. The murdered suite of the Czar's family: Fraulein Schneider Countess, Hendrikova Prince Dolgoruki and general Taticev (only Gilliard - x - escaped).

4. Dr. Botkin, the Czar's physician, was murdered at the same time as the Czar

5. General Duhonin, successor to the Commander in Chief, Aleksejev murdered at the Railway Station in Mogiljev

6. The room in the house of Ipatiev in Ekaterinenburg in which the Czar, his family and Suite were murdered between the 16th and 17th of July 1918

7. The Bolshevists remove the monuments of the former Russian Czars.
